The project aims to improve access to healthcare services for remote, rural and underserved communities by combining specialised medical visits, telemedicine solutions, digital health tools, medical equipment, capacity-building and public awareness activities. Through this approach, MINOR-MED seeks to reduce geographical barriers, support early detection and prevention, strengthen cooperation between healthcare actors in Greece and Albania, and improve the resilience of local health services. As an Albanian project partner, Shoqata DIAGNOSIS contributes to the implementation of project activities in Southern Albania, with a particular focus on remote communities and vulnerable groups. DIAGNOSIS supports community outreach, stakeholder engagement, public awareness, training activities, dissemination of project results and the facilitation of healthcare-related actions in the Albanian target areas. Building on its long-standing experience in prevention, community assistance, free public health campaigns, elderly support and emergency response, DIAGNOSIS acts as a local bridge between project partners, healthcare providers, local authorities and the communities that will benefit from the project. Through MINOR-MED, Shoqata DIAGNOSIS reinforces its mission to bring accessible, inclusive and preventive healthcare closer to people, especially those living in remote areas and those facing greater social or health vulnerabilities.
